Metro Driver — Privacy Policy

Metro Driver is a game for children and families, developed by Dexin Qi. It is free, with no advertising, in-app purchases, subscriptions or accounts. This policy describes the native app and explains the differences for the browser game.

Data sent to us

• Installation and session identifiers: randomly generated codes, used to group events from the same installation or session and measure usage. The installation code persists on the device. It is not an advertising ID or hardware serial number. Events associated with this code are pseudonymous, not fully anonymous.
• Gameplay and usage: app launches, routes, stations, progress events, session duration and interactions. We use these to understand and improve the game.
• Diagnostics: app/build version, platform, frame timing, memory and screen information where available, and error logs with technical browser/device information and recent game actions. We use these to investigate crashes and performance problems.
• Optional parent feedback: a rating and the message you choose to send after the grown-up check. Feedback travels to our first-party collector with the installation and session identifiers. Please do not include a child's name or other private information.

The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, photos, location or advertising identifiers. It has no third-party advertising or analytics SDK. We do not sell data, use it for targeted advertising, or combine it with other companies' data for advertising.

Feedback and email

Version 1.3 removes the contact-email input. It does not send a separate contact field, including when retrying older queued feedback. A local backup of recent feedback remains on the device; older local entries are left intact. Earlier versions offered an optional parent email field.

For a reply, a parent can separately email business@rahcd.com using their own email app. We receive the sender address and message and use them to respond. The address shown below the in-app form is plain text; the form does not open email or a browser.

Storage, access and retention

Our first-party service at pm.rahcd.com stores individual event records and feedback, not only aggregate totals. Records associated with the installation code can be linked together. Authorized operators use them for game improvement, troubleshooting and support. Hosting and backup providers, including Amazon Web Services, process the data on our behalf. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Records and backups are retained until removed through maintenance or a supported deletion request. There is currently no automatic 90-day deletion of the game event log; the earlier policy's statement to that effect was inaccurate. Contact privacy@rahcd.com about access or deletion. We may need information sufficient to locate your records, and will not ask for a child's identity to establish an account.

Local saves and your choices

Progress, stars, stickers and settings are stored on the device. They are not a cloud-save account, although progress-related events are sent as described above. Feedback is optional and is never required to play. The game can be played offline; queued events can be transmitted when connectivity returns. Removing the app or clearing its storage removes local data, but does not delete records already received by our server. There is no in-app analytics switch in this version. Parents can contact us about data requests.

Children and families

Children do not need to provide a name, email address or create an account to play. The grown-up check protects feedback and parent controls. Please send support requests as a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has included personal information in a message, contact privacy@rahcd.com so we can investigate and address it.

Browser version

The native iOS and Android apps use only the first-party service described above. The rahcd.com website and browser game also use Google Analytics for website usage measurement. Their browser storage and network requests are separate from the native app. Standard web requests also disclose connection information to the hosting service.
