🚇 Metro Driver — Privacy Policy

Metro Driver ("the game") is a driving game made for children and families by Dexin Qi. We built it to be safe and calm: no ads, no third-party trackers, and no collection of personal information. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what the game does and does not do with data.

The short version

• We do not collect any personal information — no names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, precise location, contacts, photos, or device advertising identifiers.
• We do not show ads and do not use any third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in the game.
• We do not sell or share data with anyone.
• The only thing we may collect is anonymous, aggregate gameplay statistics that cannot identify a child — described below.

What we may collect

To understand how the game is played and make it better, the game may send us anonymous usage information:

• A random installation identifier — a random code generated on the device. It is not linked to a name, email, account, device identifier, or any real-world identity, and it cannot be used to identify a child. It only lets us avoid double-counting one installation.
• Anonymous gameplay events — for example, which stations a player reaches and how long a play session lasted. These are used only in aggregate to improve the game.
• Basic technical information — the app version, and whether the game runs in a browser or in the app.

That is the complete list. There is no microphone or camera use and no location data. The one place text can be typed is the optional feedback form, described next.

The optional feedback form (for grown-ups)

Behind a grown-up check, the game offers a feedback form: a rating, a free-text message, and an optional email field intended for a parent or guardian. Anything submitted is sent to our own server, read by us, and used only to improve the game; the email address is used only to reply to that message. Sending feedback is never required to play. The in-game “👪 For grown-ups” screen summarises all of this for parents.

How we use and store it

• Used only to understand aggregate gameplay and improve the game. Never for advertising, profiling, or any automated decisions about a person.
• Stored on our own servers (Amazon Web Services) and automatically deleted after about 90 days.
• Never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

Children's privacy (COPPA & kids categories)

Metro Driver is designed for the Apple App Store Kids category and Google Play's Families program. Because we collect no personal information and the random installation identifier cannot identify a child, the game does not knowingly collect personal data from children or anyone else. We do not use behavioural advertising or third-party analytics inside the game.

Purchases & ads

There are none. The game is completely free: no advertising, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no accounts.

Our website

The game itself uses no third-party analytics. Our marketing website (rahcd.com) uses standard web analytics (Google Analytics) with advertising features turned off, purely to count page visits; that is separate from the game described above.

Changes

If we change these practices we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
